PRIVACY POLICY
Our privacy policy acknowledges how and for what reasons we will use any information we collect about you through forms and emails, our web presence, and at events or elsewhere. We understand that your privacy is important to you because our own privacy is important to us. So why do we collect some information about you when you visit our site? We collect it to help us better communicate with you and to help us improve the programming of the Floranthropie. Note that, at all times, the underlying policy we make is to treat your contact information with the utmost respect.
What type of informations do we collect from you?
Personal contact information (name, email, etc.) will be used for their just, intended purpose; contacting you with information about Floranthropie's activities and opportunities. We will not contact you using information you provide without your express consent. That means, for example, that you won’t receive our newsletters unless you agree to it. The only time you will be officially required to provide contact information is when you fill out the Volunteer Form to become a volunteer. Otherwise, you may be invited, under no obligation, to provide us with personal information such as your email address, phone number, mailing address, etc.
We may use any information we collect to publish general statistics about our members, but no one will ever be cited or obviously referenced without their approval. In addition, Floranthropie will in no way give, sell, share or rent personal information that we’ve collected to any third party. Doing so would simply be unfair and disrespectful, and we’re not okay with that.
Furthermore, we collect basic usage statistics from our webpages and social media sites in order to better understand how we connect with the entire Floranthropie community and how we can improve our website to provide you with the information you are looking for. As with detailed personal information, usage statistics will not be given, sold, rented or shared with any third party, and we will only ever publish general statistics about our community unless you give us express consent to act otherwise.
Should you have any further questions about how we use your information, or should you like to suggest some improvements to our policy, do not hesitate to contact us by clicking here.
This is super important stuff, and your input can help us do a better job!
